ARCTIC CHAR

Arctic Char is a Salmonid and is found in the Arctic Ocean throughout the northernmost countries, particularly in the Canadian Arctic. It is similar to salmon or trout, but has a milder, more delicate flavour.

TURBOT

Turbot is a flatfish found in cold waters throughout the northernmost countries, particularly in the Canadian Arctic. It is similar to Halibut, but is smaller in size and is more tender with a richer flavour.

WHITEFISH

Whitefish in found in cold waters throughout Canada and Saskatchewan specifically. It has a very mild flavour, but is firm and flaky which makes it perfect for smoking or grilling.

PICKEREL

​Pickerel (Walleye) is found in lakes and rivers in North America, and is particularly important and abundant in Northern Saskatchewan. Known for it's mild flavour and flaky texture, it's the prize catch of many.

Sockeye Salmon is a prized Pacific salmon celebrated for its vibrant, firm, deep-red flesh and robust, meaty flavour.

Arctic Char

Pickerel

Walleye (also called pickerel) is a freshwater found in cold waters throughout the northernmost countries, particularly in the Canadian rivers. They are extremely rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, protein and vitamin D.

Our Walleye is exclusively caught in Saskatchewan by the Ile-a-la-Crosse fishery, 5 hours north of Saskatoon. 

Walleye has a mild flavour and flaky texture, and is known to be one of the tastiest freshwater fish.

Whitefish

Whitefish is a freshwater found in cold waters throughout the northernmost countries, particularly in the Canadian rivers. They are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and protein.

Salmon

Sockeye Salmon is found off the Pacific Northwest have always played a major role in First Nations cultures, and have provided valued subsistence nutrition to many communities. They are greatly sought after in the rest of the world for their firm, rich, bright red flesh and full flavour.

Our Sockeye Salmon is caught off Vancouver Island.

Salmon is a favourite among many fish due to it's rich, and bold flavour.

Halibut

Halibut is found in the oceans, particularly in the pacific ocean off the coast of British Columbia. They have historically been an important food source for First Nations and continues to be a key element in their diets.

Our Halibut is exclusively caught off the Coast of Vancouver Island in the Broughton Archipelago by an incredible group of Indigenous fishermen.

Halibut is known to be a dense, firm fish with a mild, clean flavour which makes it perfect to take on a variety of flavours.
