Our Walleye Fillets are arriving from Ile-a-la Crosse in Northwestern Saskatchewan! The Walleye, also called Pickerel, is wild-caught by Indigenous fisherpeople during the Winter fishing season and is a important piece of their culture.
A simple but elegant fillet of fish, not much is needed to bring out its delicious flavours. Since it comes from cold waters the fish has a cleaner, fresh taste.
Walleye is a freshwater fish with a mild flavour with flaky white flesh. Perfect for pan-searing, battered and fried!

Our Walleye Fillets are all wild caught by the fisherpeople of Ile-a-la Crosse in Northwest Saskatchewan.
All fillets are frozen within hours of catch during the winter harvest and remain frozen until purchase. To defrost; place the fillets in the refrigerator overnight and consume within 3 days.
Our Walleye fillets are best pan-seared, baked, fried, or grilled.
