Spot Prawn Tails with Steak & Mash Potatoes
Recipe by First Fish Foodie
Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
Spot Prawn Tails
Steak
Instant Mash Potatoes
Milk
Butter
Olive Oil
Bearnaise Sauce Packet
Preparation:
Start by heating a skillet over medium-high heat. Prepare the instant mashed potatoes according to the package instructions, using milk and butter for a creamy texture, then set aside and keep warm. Pat the steak dry, season generously with salt and pepper, and heat a drizzle of olive oil in the skillet. Sear the steak for about 3–4 minutes per side (or to your preferred doneness), then baste with butter for 2-3 minutes. While the steak rests, drizzle some olive oil in the same pan and quickly sauté the Spot Prawn Tails for about 2–3 minutes until pink and just cooked through. Prepare the béarnaise sauce according to the packet instructions. To serve, spoon the mashed potatoes onto a plate, slice the steak and place it over the mash, arrange the prawns alongside, and drizzle generously with béarnaise sauce. Enjoy!
