Honey Garlic Shrimp with Tangy Green Chutney
Recipe by First Fish Foodie
Prep Time: 25 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
Spot Prawn Tails
Garlic, Minced
Garlic Powder
Honey
Soy Sauce
Butter
Mint Leaves
Salt
Cumin Powder
Lime, Juiced
Water
Preparation:
Start by making the green chutney. Blend fresh cilantro, mint, garlic, cumin, lime juice, salt, and a splash of water until smooth, then set aside. Peel and devein the shrimp, pat them dry, and season lightly with salt and garlic powder. Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add honey and a splash of soy sauce or lime juice. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, tossing until they are pink, slightly caramelized, and well coated. To serve, arrange the honey garlic shrimp on a plate with a generous spoonful of green chutney on the side. Add the cucumber and lime wedges, and finish with a squeeze of lime over the shrimp for a bright, fresh flavour. Enjoy!
