Arctic Char
Arctic Char is a Salmonid and is found in the Arctic Ocean throughout the northernmost countries, particularly in the Canadian Arctic. It is similar to salmon or trout, but has a milder, more delicate flavour.
All of our Arctic Char is wild caught by the Inuit fishermen of Rankin Inlet, off the coast Nunavut and Pangnirtung, just off the coast of Baffin Island. Our fish is flash frozen during the winter harvest and within six hours during the summer harvest and remain frozen until purchased or smoked.
